High winds are forecasted for Saturday, Feb. 7. As a result, the City’s Landfill and Resource Recovery Center may temporarily close. It will reopen as the winds subside.

Using VB311, residents now have four service request options:
- Bulky Item Collection Request
- Report a Missed Pick-up
Bulky Item Collection Request
Virginia Beach residents who receive curbside services may schedule a bulky/large item pickup online using VB311.
Requests should be submitted two weeks (or more) prior to your regularly scheduled weekly trash pick-up day. Residents are encouraged to request this service when multiple items have been gathered rather than requesting multiple pickups of single items.
