Parking meters in the Resort Area are enforced 7 days a week, 24 hours a day from April 1 to Oct. 31. The meters located at 24 ½ and the 300 block of 25th Street are enforced all year long.

Rates are $2 per hour, with a $20 fine for expired meter violation. This fine doubles to $40 if not paid within 14 calendar days. All meters have the following payment options: Mobile pay apps, text to pay and credit or debit cards. There is a one-hour minimum for credit card payments.

Visitors can park FREE at our on-street meters only between 5th Street and Rudee Loop from 5-10 a.m. No on-street parking is allowed after midnight. Towing enforced.

The use of parking meters promotes local commerce by creating frequent turnover of spaces. The constant turnover of spaces assists local businesses by providing convenient and available spaces to their customers. In fact, the City's on-street parking spaces average four turnovers per space each day and the average length of stay is an hour and a half.

Visitors coming to the Resort Area seeking longer lengths of stay should consider parking in the City's garages or surface lots.
