Postponed: Paid parking at the Convention Center and the Sports Center

Following recent direction from City Council, the paid parking plan for the Virginia Beach Convention Center and Virginia Beach Sports Center will be postponed until April 1, 2027. The Resident Parking Voucher Plan begins April 1 and information gathered will support future parking decisions.

Paid parking at the Convention Center and Sports Center: To help manage demand, encourage turnover and improve traffic flow.

  • Hour 1 | Rate: $1 | Total Stay: $1

  • Hour 2 | Rate: $2 | Total Stay: $3

  • Hour 3 | Rate: $3 | Total Stay: $6

  • Hour 4 | Rate: $4 | Total Stay: $10
