
Parking for Individuals with Disabilities
There are designated parking spaces throughout the Resort Area for residents and visitors with disabilities.
All City of Virginia Beach administrative offices and the Landfill & Resource Recovery Center will be closed on Friday, June 19, in observance of the Juneteenth Holiday. Solid waste and recycling collection schedules are unchanged. Please view the Juneteenth operating schedule for more details.

There are designated parking spaces throughout the Resort Area for residents and visitors with disabilities.
To park in disabled parking spaces, a properly displayed sticker, windshield placard, license plate, or other officially issued tag is required. No placard will be honored unless the person to whom the placard is issued is riding in the vehicle.
There are designated spaces in the municipal parking lots and garages. On-street parking is available on Arctic Avenue, Atlantic Avenue, Rudee Loop and on Atlantic Avenue cross streets from 2nd-37th streets.
Any vehicle visibly marked with a disabled parking tag or other form of identification may park at any on-street metered location for FREE for up to four hours. Parking at a metered location beyond four hours are subject to a parking violation citation.
Disabled free parking does not apply to garages or surface lots.
