Household Hazardous Waste
Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) are materials such as oil, paints, cleaning agents, or pesticides that are toxic, corrosive, ignitable, or reactive and require special handling to dispose of safely.
Residential trash and recycling carts are temporarily out of stock. An update will be posted here once carts are available.
In the meantime, residents may bring household trash and recyclable materials directly to the Landfill & Resource Recovery Center.
Proof of Virginia Beach residency is required. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience as we replenish our inventory.
