The Public Works Facilities Management Group consist of four divisions: Building Maintenance, Energy Management, Facilities Design and Construction, and Facilities Management. 

Their work encompasses City owned and leased properties and provides efficient, quality building maintenance services in the major trades (electrical, heating and air conditioning, extermination, custodial, plumbing, carpentry, painting); monitoring municipal energy use, processing energy bills, and looking for ways to save on energy costs.

In addition, the Facilities Management Groups provides professional architectural and engineering design services for new and existing City owned facilities within the Capital Improvement Program (CIP). This includes recreation centers, police and fire stations, libraries, and major renovation projects. 

They also oversee planning, management and allocation of City owned or leased spaces, City property demolition, building security and employee identification systems, and building and project inspections.
