The Public Works Real Estate Group is responsible for:

  • Land acquisition for all City agencies (including the City’s Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) program.
  • Land acquisition for all City infrastructure improvement projects).
  • Maintaining a list of real estate property owned by the City with the assistance of GIS.
  • Handling resident requests for encroachments onto City property and rights of way.
  • Easements, unauthorized encroachments, and sale of excess City property.
